Oxytetracyclin hydrochloride tablet is recommended for oral administration for the control and treatment of the following diseases of beef and dairy calves caused by organisms sensitive to oxytetracycline
Oxytetracycline is an antibiotic indicated for treatment of infections caused by Gram positive and Gram negative microorganisms such asMycoplasma pneumoniae,Pasteurella pestis,Escherichia coli,Haemophilus influenzae, andDiplococcus pneumoniae.
bacterial enteritis (scours, diarrhea) caused bySalmonella typhimuriumandEscherichia coli(colibacillosis);
bacterial pneumonia (shipping fever complex, pasteurellosis) caused byPasteurella multocida.
