Essential minerals in the animal feed are destroyed during the digestion process due to interaction with other components of the feed, thus rendering the mineral unavailable to the body of animal. So, readymade mineral mixtures are included in the diet plan of animals. But these mineral mixtures are inorganic / chemical in nature. Deficiencies, imbalances and toxicity of certain inorganic minerals may cause lactation disorder in animals.
