Animal Mineral Mixture

MINMIC is a ISI Marks mineral feed concentrate for cattle. It contains Calcium, Phosphorus, Iron, Copper, Cobalt, Iodine and Sodium chloride for supplementation of minerals. Nutrient deficiencies of minerals affect the development and functions of different organs, either directly or indirectly. This cause disturbed cellular metabolism in the organ concerned. Number of trace elements such as iron, copper are of fundamental importance for animals. Calcium intake may seriously influence the viability of offspring. Calcium and Phosphorus are essential for formation of skeleton in growing animals. Formation of milk also requires calcium in lactating animals. Deficiency of calcium affects milk production. Iron requirement in the last half of gestation increases in cattle. Copper is essential in pregnancy. In ruminants it may lead to delivery of weak offspring, because of development of demyelinating disease. Iron, copper, cobalt, are essential for formation of Haemoglobin in blood. Insufficient iodine in feed may provoke a compensatory hypertrophy of the thyroid gland, thus animal may suffer from hyperthyroidism and goiter.
