The company was birthed with the passion to offer quality cattle feeds for dairy farmers by Late. Shri.GanapathyChettiar and his son Shri. RG Sundaram. With their passion to offer quality feed, they toiled to reach the uttermost parts of Tamil Nadu to serve every dairy farmer. And their approach to serve the small, medium and the large dairy farms with same earnestness ensured RGS KAMADHENU has a household brand. In 2005, Shri. Ramamoorthy, son of Shri. RG Sundaram entered the management. Under his leadership the RGS FEEDS went through a rapid change. The technology to manufacture, the R&D employed, the quality certifications received ensured RGS FEEDS as one of the top cattle feeds and livestock feed solutions providers in India. Also, RGS FEED also entered offering supplement and vitamin solution through International and National tie-ups to lives tocks in India. To offer compounded cattle feed in pellet type, with consistency and adhering to the international protocols, it was mandatory the factory had to be upgraded with the latest technology to minimise human intervention and avoiding errors in preparation and manufacturing of pellets. Hence RGS FEEDS established a state-of-the-factory in a sprawling 4-acre property, the factory was designed and implemented as per the international standards, the equipment was imported from Europe and fully automated and controlled by computers in the control room. With 400 MT capacity and with consistency in quality RGS FEEDS has raised its benchmark to benefit the end user- THE DAIRY FARMER
RGS also stands for Researched, Guaranteed and Satisfaction. This exemplifies the importance of R&D. Every feed pellet is as a result of rigorous R&D. The formulations of the feed is arrived after understanding the need of the livestock of the region, from deficiency to sufficiency of vitamins, minerals and the character of Water available to them. Our panel of Animal Nutritionists and Veterinary doctors collaborate to achieve the optimum formulations for the livestock. The raw material is sourced pan India, their quality is checked in the lab and then sent for preparing the feed. Such efforts are taken only to ensure the feed takes care of livestock because Livestock takes care of the family!!
